An allergen is a substance that is usually harmless to most people who in some individuals (atopic subjects) are able to produce allergic manifestations of various kinds, from mild to very severe. The production and packaging lines of Nutrival Borbera s.r.l., occasionally also process ingredients that appear in Annex II of EU Regulation no. 1169/2011 (ALLERGEN LIST), but the procedures adopted by the implemented HACCP system (in particular cleaning and hygiene of the areas dedicated to production and the machinery used) are aimed at eliminating or reducing the risk of cross-contamination.
